Fabrication

It is time to start making the finishing pieces of the puzzle. The ball, book, microphone and science utensils.

Here is a picture of the ball under construction. Welding the steel slugs together in the same manner as I made the first head.

It is a long process to infill all the spaces with weld and then use an angle grinder to smooth and finish.

Here is the microphone underway. I used some different sized pipe and welded and shaped it to form the tapered microphone.

The science flask under construction

Grinding, welding and shaping the different pieces is time consuming. But I am learning lots along the way.
